One month away from my 2 year anniversary of the first cache I found, I create a blog to share what my experience has been while caching. Summer 2016 has been a lot of firsts for me in geocaching, add to the list this blog-post. In honor of firsts, I will share a few things that has happened:

This is my first solo photo taken while on a caching adventure, and the first traditional cache I found outside of UT. It was taken at Long Beach WA. I shared the find with my wife. This was a memorable day because we walked along and had a great time together at a windy, sunny beach.

Released my first trackable in the first worldwide Deadly Duck TB race.
I completed my first night cache, where I had to use a flashlight to follow pin reflections down a trail to get to the cache.
I attended my first events this summer, meeting a few other cachers.
Got a co-FTF with another cacher. First find that close to a FTF.
This has been a great summer, and there's many more to follow!
